Welcome to Faros!

Faros is a traditional fishing village with 3 continuous sandy beaches (Fassolou, a sandy beach with shallow waters, road access; Faros Beach, which is sandy with shallow waters and road access; and Glipho, a long sandy beach with shallow waters, more secluded and more sand). There is some accommodation and the "obligatory" tavernas at your service. From Faros, you can walk the footpaths up to two other small villages. It is a fantastic area, there is a monastery, and a few little areas worth exploring. It is very tranquil and there are lovely walks, little boat trips to secluded beaches, and traditional tavernes with fresh fish.
