Averaging 1.5 to 2.5 kilometers distance from Fira Town, this outstanding area features the highest elevations over the Caldera, and has one of the island’s most prominent features, the rock of Skaros, the medieval capital of the island. The excellent accommodation here offers some of the most outstanding views toward the volcano. From here, you can take the bus south to Fira Town or to Oia in the north.
