THERMOPYLAE,
Honor to those who in their life
Have laid down and defend Thermopylae
Never moving away from this Cause;
just and straightforward in all their actions,
but also sorrowful as well as compassionate;
gallant when they are rich,
and if poor, still gallant accordingly,
coming to help as much as they can;
always speaking the truth,
yet without hatred for the liers.
And even more honor do they deserve when they foresee,
and many do foresee,
that Efialtes will appear in the end
and the Medes shall finally pass.
