Ialyssos

Welcome to Ialyssos!

Sometimes spelled as Ialysos, and often jointly referred to as Trianta/Trianda, this is the second largest settlement on the island (after Rhodes Town), with a present population of around 12,000 (having grown in just 25 years from a sleepy coastal village to a major resort area). It lies on the northwest coast of Rhodes, only 8 kilometers south of Rhodes Town, and its location makes it an ideal spot for windsurfing and kiting. Here you’ll find a very good tourist infrastructure, with a wide choice of tavernas and restaurants, bars, cafes, hotels and rooms of all classes, plus a large assortment of cultural sites in Ancient Ialyssos, not to mention great beaches.
