We'll start the tour in the morning with a visit to Knossos and its famous palace, major city of the Minoan civilization 4,000 years ago. The palace is a few kilometers from Heraklion and covers more than 20,000 sq. meters (24,000 sq yd).

We'll continue with a visit of the town of Heraklion, with time for lunch and a short walk through its shopping center.

In the afternoon, there will be a guided tour of the Archaeological Museum of Heraklion, which contains some of the most important artifacts of the Minoan civilization and is considered to be one of the five most important museums in Greece.
