This itinerary offers a wonderful historical and archaeological look at this amazing country, with plenty of relaxation included for good measure! Starting with a Classical Tour of the mainland and the Peloponnese, and followed by an excellent half-day tour of the essential sites of Athens, you will next have three overnights on Mykonos. Here you'll have the opportunity to visit the Sacred Island of Delos, explore the famous Mykonos Town, and visit one or more of its renowned beaches. From Mykonos, you'll embark on your cruise and sail to Kusadasi, with the chance to visit Ephesus. Your ports-of-call will also include Patmos, Rhodes, Crete, and Santorini, each a destination of important historical interest and outstanding beauty.

Day 1

Arrival at Athens International Airport. Meet our representative and transfer to your hotel. The remainder of the day at leisure. We suggest you visit the Old Part of town, Plaka, and eat at one of the many traditional tavernas. Overnight Athens.

Day 2


Athens City, Corinth City, Nafplion Town, Tripoli City, Olympia Town

After breakfast, we'll start on the 4-Day Classical Tour, traveling by the coastal road to the Corinth Canal, where we'll make a short stop. We'll continue to drive on and will next visit the Theater of Epidaurus, famous for its remarkable acoustics. Then we proceed to the Town of Nauplion, where we'll have a short stop, before continuing on to Mycenae to visit the Archaeological Site and the Tomb of Agamemnon. Afterward, we depart for Olympia, traveling through the Central Peloponnese and the towns of Tripolis and Megalopolis. We'll have dinner at Olympia, the Cradle of the Olympic Games, and have an overnight here.

Day 3

In the morning, we begin with a visit of the Archaeological Site with the Sanctuary of Olympian Zeus, the Ancient Stadium, and the Archaeological Museum. We will then continue our drive, traveling through the plains of Elia and Achaia until we reach the magnificent bridge crossing the Corinthian Bay from Rion to Antirion. Passing by the picturesque Towns of Nafpactos (Lepanto) and Itea, we arrive in Delphi. Here we'll have diner and an overnight.

Day 4

In the morning we'll visit the Archaeological Site and the Museum of Delphi. Later, we depart for Kalambaka, a small town situated at the foot of the astonishing complex of Meteora, not far from its gigantic rocks. We'll have dinner here and an overnight.

Day 5

Today we have our long-awaited visit of Meteora, situated amid striking scenery, with the ageless monasteries perched on top of the huge rocks. Seemingly suspended between heaven and earth, and between time and space, the monsteries are the keepers of exquisite specimens of Byzantine Art. We return to Athens via Trikala, Lamia, and Thermopylae, where we stop to visit the Leonidas Monument. Our arrival in Athens will be early in the evening. Overnight Athens.

Day 6


Athens City, Mykonos (Island)

After breakfast, depart for your sightseeing tour of Athens. Visit the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Syntagma Square, the Royal Palace, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, The Thesseum, The Greek Orthodox Cathedral, the Flea Market of Monastiraki, The Academy and, last but not least, the Acropolis and the New Acropolis Museum. Return to your hotel for checkout. In the afternoon, our representative will transfer you to the port to catch your ferry or highspeed boat to Mykonos, where you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Overnight Mykonos.

Two full days to explore and enjoy the island of Mykonos, known for it's beautiful beaches, jet-set atmosphere, whitewashed windmills and beautiful beaches. Take an optional trip to nearby Delos, birthplace of the ancient gods Apollo and Artemis. 2 overnights Mykonos.

After breakfast, enjoy your last morning on Mykonos. In the afternoon, meet our representative and transfer to the port of Mykonos to embark the vessel for your Cruise. Overnight on board.

Day 10


Patmos (Island)

Early arrival into Kusadasi, the most popular Turkish port and gateway to the ancient city of Ephesus, one of the most well preserved ancient cities. In the afternoon, you will call at the Island of Patmos. Here you may visit the Monastery of St. John, where the Book of Revelation was written. Overnight on board.

Today you will have an early arrival at the Island of Roses, Rhodes. You have a full day to explore the old city and the Medieval Castle of the crusading Knights of St. John, or take an optional tour. Do not miss a stroll through the famous Street of Knights, where you will be transported back in time to the Medieval Ages. Overnight on board.

Day 12


Rhodes (Island), Heraklion (Prefecture), Santorini (Island)

In the morning, your vessel will call at Heraklion, Crete. You may take an optional tour to the Minoan Palace of Knossos, where, in its Labyrinth, it is said that the legendary Minotaurus used to live, and to the Heraklion Museum. The next destination is the Island of Santorini, christened the most romantic island of the world. Overnight on board.

Day 13


Santorini (Island), Piraeus Port, Athens City

Early arrival at the port of Piraeus. After disembarkation, meet our representative and transfer to your hotel. Enjoy your free day in Athens. Shop in the fashionable shops of the elite district of Kolonaki, or simply enjoy a relaxing cup of coffee in the various local coffee shops. Overnight Athens.
