Welcome to Stalida!
Just beyond the large resort of Hersonissos, you’ll find the more laidback resort of Stalida, also called Stalis. It is situated right between Hersonissos and Malia, and while having a good tourist infrastructure, it is quieter than its livelier neighbors. There’s a wide selection of accommodation, cafes, tavernas, small shops and a few bars. If you choose not to rent a car, be assured that there is excellent bus service running between Heraklion and Agios Nikolaos. You’ll find some good beaches here too, as this stretch of coastline is mostly sandy.
