Honeymoon Petra Villas Pool

This complex is located in the area of Imerovigli, less than 2 kilometers from Fira Town. Carved into the hillside overlooking the Caldera, the complex features two separate sections with a total of 25 suites, studios and apartments, all with private balcony or veranda and tremendous panoramic view of the caldera, the volcano, the sunset, and just about most of the island of Santorini itself.

Included in the complex is a wonderful swimming pool with a waterfall down to the children’s pool below, a pool bar, BBQ area at the edge of the cliff, a small fitness center with hammam, and an outdoor Jacuzzi.

The two sections of the complex feature 9 studios and apartments in the Traditional Wing, which are carved out of the rock and feature the typical Santorini architecture. These can accommodate two, four or six persons. There's also a three-level villa for two to four persons, with outdoor Jacuzzi on the terrace.

The second section of the complex is called the Petra Wing. Here, there are 16 studios, apartments and suites that are actually carved out of black volcanic rock. The units can accommodate 2 or 4 persons.

All of the units in both sections have excellent amenities, including air conditioning, satellite TV, individual CD player, direct-dial phone, safe box, hairdryer, a fully-equipped kitchenette, private bath with shower or tub, and a balcony or terrace on the caldera with fantastic view to the sea and the volcano. Furnishings throughout the complex tend to be a bit classic, a bit traditional, a little bit kitsch, and a little bit modern.
