Pegasus Suites & Spa |
A new complex built and opened in 2003, this accommodation offers an outstanding view, 330 meters above the volcano and along the rim of the Caldera. Located in the area of Imerovigli, it is adjacent to the old Byzantine Monastery of St. Nikolaos.
Cascading down the hillside, it covers more than six levels, and offers 15 studios and 10 suites, all of them spacious and very nicely furnished with traditional dark furniture and many antiques, and with light-toned accessories in island style. Five brand new suites were introduced in 2010, on various levels of the complex. They are beautifully furnished, and the color blue is highlighted throughout.
Every unit has a sitting area and a private terrace with magnificent sea view. The larger suites have a full size living room and a Jacuzzi bath, and the studios have fully equipped kitchenettes. There is a very pretty swimming pool overlooking the Caldera, which includes a sun terrace and Jacuzzi.
The swimming pool terrace offers an incredible view, and is fully equipped with sun lounges, and umbrellas. Maid service is offered twice daily, and laundry and dry cleaning services are available, as are the services of a bellboy. Guests receive a complimentary bottle of Santorini wine on arrival.
The Pegasus Suites and Spa has a special program for honeymooners, as well as special Suites. From the hotel's Spa Menu, you can select from an array of treatments and massages offered individually or as a couple. Candlelit dinners are easily arranged, either poolside overlooking the caldera, or in the privacy of your own private veranda.
Special Note: Because of the physical properties of the complex, only children above 13 years old are accepted.
